Effortless lighting for living gardens

Plug&Play Outdoor brings architectural lighting into the garden, without trenches or junction boxes. The range is built around SPIX and KIX, two proven Deltalight fixtures. A 24V power supply in an ordinary outdoor mains socket runs the system. Tool-free IP67 waterproof connectors click together, so each fixture sits where the garden asks for it. As the planting matures or the layout shifts, the fixtures follow and the system extends.

Set up in three steps

1. PLACE

Push the pin versions straight into the soil. Reposition them as the garden changes.

2. CONNECT

Connect fixtures, cables and splitters without tools. Each connector fits only one way round.

3. LIGHT ON

Plug the 24V power supply into your outdoor mains socket.

What sets Plug&Play Outdoor apart

Architectural light, without the installation

Architectural light, simply installed

No compromise on the light itself. SPIX and KIX are the same projectors and path lights specified in Deltalight projects worldwide. They come in the same finishes: anthracite, pine green and aluminium grey. SPIX keeps its precise 10° and 30° optics and the signature hinge that conceals all cabling. Only the connection is new.

Safe from socket to fixture

Safe from socket to fixture

The 24V power supply is the heart of the system. From there, everything runs on extra-low voltage that is safe to handle around planting, water and children. Like the fixtures, the connectors and splitters are slim and discreet. The light takes centre stage, not the hardware.

Room for new ideas

Room for new ideas

A garden is never finished, and its lighting no longer needs to be. Cables of 2, 5 and 10 metres reach every corner, and 2-way and 3-way splitters add a branch wherever one is needed. Each power supply supports up to 100W of light and 50 metres of cable. Larger gardens add a second power supply.

Control at hand

Control at hand

Central switching keeps daily use simple. With the Wireless DIM unit, the light can be switched or dimmed from an intuitive app on your smartphone.

FAQ

Can I install Plug&Play Outdoor myself?

Yes. The power supply plugs into an existing outdoor mains socket, and every connection clicks together without tools. The connectors only fit the right way, so the wiring is always correct. Setting up a typical garden takes an afternoon, without an electrician.

How many fixtures fit on one power supply?

Up to 100W of connected light and 50 metres of cable, or up to 25 fixtures depending on the type. A second power supply on another socket covers larger gardens.

Can I hide or bury the cables?

The luminaire and extension cables are designed for above-ground use only, and sit discreetly along borders and planting. Running them underground requires a flexible conduit.

What about unused splitter outputs?

Every splitter comes with sealing caps for its unused outputs. Once clicked on, a cap keeps the connection waterproof until the next extension.

Can I dim the terrace and the path separately?

Yes. Add a Wireless DIM unit per zone — several units can run on one power supply. Add one into the line feeding the terrace and another into the line feeding the path, and dim each group separately from the app.

I already own SPIX or KIX fixtures. Are they compatible?

The Plug&Play versions are dedicated articles with factory-mounted connectors, and the connectors are not sold separately. A Deltalight sales point can advise on extending an existing installation.

What is the warranty?

Five years as standard, as with every Deltalight fixture. The guarantee applies without registration.

Can I place the fixtures and cables nearby water?

Yes, the Plug&Play system operates below the 30V safety standard, making it suitable for use nearby water.
