PURE

Some materials finish an object. Brass defines it.

Pure Brass begins with the unmistakable quality of solid brass — its weight, lustre and depth as it catches the light. Not a final layer, but brass throughout, machined with precision to reveal its character in every detail. Five finishes and four installation types create one coherent material language, giving each luminaire presence, depth and permanence. Together, they form one material language for high-end interiors.

Why Brass?

There is an unmistakable quality to solid brass. Its weight. Its lustre. The depth of its surface as it catches the light. Warm yet precise, brass has a presence that comes from the material itself — a richness that needs little else. A material that rewards the hand that knows how to work it.

Pure Brass begins here. Not brass as a final layer, but solid brass throughout the entire object.

Genuine solid material

Machined from solid brass, not extruded or cast. Material qualities revealed in every edge, junction and detail. Even the smallest components carry the weight and integrity of the whole. Material and making become inseparable.

Performance without compromise

Optics and installation typologies draw on the Spy II 39 and Deep Ringo III platforms, so light quality is not a trade-off.

One material language

Recessed downlight, adjustable spotlight and pendants all share the same detailing. One material story runs through an entire project.

Pride in material honesty

Five finishes reveal different expressions of the brass, from darker, more subdued tones to brighter, more reflective surfaces. Finishes designed to stay true over time.

The craft behind pure brass

Brass, made for the project.

Crafted with Atelier Tourain

Because Pure is solid brass throughout, its surface is not a coating but a material that can be worked. That makes brass naturally open to finishes beyond the standard five: patinated, darkened or polished, and tuned to the materials, colours and atmosphere of a single project.

Together with Atelier Tourain, we developed three on request finishes that show what is possible.

Atelier Tourain

Atelier Tourain is a Belgian design atelier where material takes centre stage. Guided by curiosity and craftsmanship, the atelier explores the nature and boundaries of materials, translating their unique qualities into expressive objects and bespoke creations.

Worked by hand

Each finish is built up by hand. Its drawing comes from the making itself, so every piece carries its own character.

Three finishes, one starting point

From deep blue patina to bright brass with dark traces and near-black. Three expressions of brass, and a starting point for a finish made for your project.

Where Pure Brass feels at home

Familiar to install

Familiar to install

Although new in material, the Pure Brass collection is based on familiar Spy II and Deep Ringo III installation logic throughout. The fit stays precise and secure, whichever installation the project calls for, from recessed to semi-recessed, surface mounted to suspended installation.

Built to last

Built to last

Designed to last, and to stay in place rather than be replaced. Solid brass as material is durable and the finishes stay true over time. Moreover, the LED module can be replaced on site, so the fixture can be serviced and updated over time instead of discarded, extending its life well beyond a sealed fixture.
