What is EcoVadis?
EcoVadis is a leading platform that evaluates over 130,000 companies across 180 countries on sustainability performance. The assessment is based on international standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the UN Global Compact.
Since 2019, Deltalight has undergone an annual evaluation to measure progress in areas including the environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
How did Deltalight achieve the Silver EcoVadis Medal?

Plans for the Future
Deltalight will continue to invest in sustainable innovation and has set the following goals:
- Product Efficiency: Development of energy-efficient lighting solutions to minimise energy consumption and CO₂ emissions.
- Sustainable Design and Materials: Creating designs that enhance repairability and recyclability, while utilising a higher percentage of recycled materials.
- Scope 3 Reduction: In addition to reducing our own emissions (Scope 1 & 2), we are also addressing CO₂ emissions across the entire value chain (Scope 3).
- Life Cycle Assessment: Expanding Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) and Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) to provide transparency on the environmental impact of our products.
- Customer Comfort: Optimising products and services with ease of use as a priority.
- Employee Wellbeing: Investing in training, a safe working environment, and initiatives that enhance the wellbeing of our employees.
- Sustainable Supply Chain: Collaborating closely with suppliers to improve their ecological and social impact.
