C+O Architects & Designers is a small boutique studio located in the heart of Dubai, founded in 2015, following Peter Caruso's 10-year experience at the renowned Dubai Studio LS Design, partnering with Omar Ghafour. C+O meticulously selects its projects, overseeing every aspect—from concept design to the selection of materials, interior design, and lighting. Its portfolio extends to residential, commercial, F&B (Food and Beverage), and exclusive projects. The Jumeirah Island Villas were commissioned in 2018 by a network marketing power couple and represent the second and final phase of two private villa projects. The clients desired to refurbish the two adjacent villas and combine the landscape into one full plot. The second villa was built as an entertainment wing and guest house to host family and friends. The project was approached with a neutral palette and soft interior lighting to create a relaxing environment. The guest suite was transformed into a mini home cinema with a starry night stretch fabric ceiling, designed to evoke childhood memories of the magic of cinema. A spa with massage beds, steam, sauna, and shower was installed in the former study, while a small gym was created on the first floor. The original kitchen spaces were merged into an open-space contemporary kitchen, serving as the focal point for get-togethers and parties.
