Starbucks Roastery and Tasting (US)

Seattle is home to the first Starbucks Reserve Roastery and Tasting Room, only a few blocks away from the original Starbucks, where the experience is all about the coffee. This new concept is 15,000 square feet large, an immersive combination of café, roastery and restaurant. It’s a one-of-a-kind coffee shrine in their hometown that captures the past, present and future of Starbucks.

The Starbucks Reserve Roastery and Tasting Room is a place where you can experience coffee from the unroasted bean to your cup of coffee. You can watch if being roasted. You’ll see the burlap sacks it comes in. You can watch it being loaded into the green coffee loading pit. You can buy it scooped at the coffee scoop bar. You can experience your coffee as a pour over, Siphon brewed, Clover-brewed, a shot of espresso, espresso beverages, and more.

Besides being filled with coffee and beans, the Starbucks Roastery also has many Deltalight You-Turn fixtures, providing both general light and spot lighting on the bar and seating areas.
