Product Developer - Custom Projects (tijdelijke vacature 6m)

Als Product Developer binnen het Custom Projects team ben je mee verantwoordelijk voor het vertalen van concepten naar sterke, marktklare en klantgerichte oplossingen die het verschil maken. Dit omvat het volledige ontwikkeltraject, van het eerste mechanisch ontwerp tot een afgewerkt product, klaar voor productie. Hierbij hou je steeds rekening met de kwaliteitsstandaarden van Deltalight en heb je oog voor detail.
- Je vertaalt architecturale concepten, klantvragen en technische vereisten naar haalbare en kwalitatieve lichtoplossingen
- Je ontwikkelt innovatieve producten van conceptfase tot eindproduct in de verpakking
- Je maakt technische ontwerpen voor diverse productietechnologieën zoals plaatwerk, draai- en freeswerk, extrusie, injectie en optische componenten en dit in verschillende materialen
- Je werkt nauw samen met verschillende teams zoals design/ product management/ optical engineering/ thermal en IP-testing/ electronics. Je werkt zelfstandig aan de ontwikkeling van producten en oplossingen en stemt waar nodig af met collega’s om functionaliteiten, technische haalbaarheid en verdere ontwikkelingsstappen te bepalen
- Je maakt actief gebruik van onze interne prototypingafdeling om ideeën snel te testen, te verbeteren en te valideren
- Je onderzoekt en implementeert duurzame materialen en oplossingen binnen jouw ontwerpen
- Je denkt creatief mee over nieuwe mogelijkheden en oplossingen waarbij esthetiek, functionaliteit, technische haalbaarheid en productievereisten in balans worden gebracht
Profilo
- Masterdiploma in Mechanical (en Electrical) engineering, industriële vormgeving of een gelijkaardig vakgebied
- Je combineert sterke technische kennis met creativiteit en een hands-on mentaliteit
- Ervaring in productontwikkeling binnen de verlichtingsindustrie is een pluspunt
- Je werkt zelfstandig, denkt analytisch en haalt energie uit het oplossen van complexe technische vraagstukken
- Je voelt je thuis in een dynamische omgeving, en beheert vlot meerdere projecten tegelijk
- Ervaring met CAD-software en/of andere relevante ontwerptools
- Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels
