Velvet Café (BE)
Belgian owned Velvet was established in 2014 in Medellín, inspired by the entrepreneurial vibe reigning in the city, their concept aims to enhance the coffee culture by creating environments where people meet around coffee: Café Velvet, Velvet Tours, Velvet Eventos.
They source their coffee beans from their neighbor coffee farmers and roast them theirselves, developing for each single origin a special profile to underline its delicate and complex aroma's.
Café Velvet is a respected name in the third wave coffee scene in Colombia and the first Colombian specialty coffee concept in Europe. Therefore they have recently opened the first Belgian Café Velvet in Brussels.
