Expo Michiel Hendryckx Ghent (BE)
Deltalight collaborated with Cannibal Publishing and Belgian photographer Michiel Hendryckx on the illumination of his temporary exposition “Longing for France”. The exposition brings the work of Michiel to the poetic setting of the St. Bavo’s Abbey, a hidden gem in the city of Ghent.
Michiel Hendryckx was born in Belgium, only 1 kilometer from the French border. From his very early ages he has traveled through the country by car, on foot, hitchhiking, by motorbike and even by boat. The exposition presents his fascination and connection with France, for him the most beautiful country in the world.
Deltalight illuminated the abandoned abbey with great respect for the building and the artist.
