Sales Support Assistant

As a Sales Support Assistant, you are an essential link within our support department and act as a key point of contact between customers, sales, and internal departments.
You support the entire quote-to-delivery process and ensure smooth and accurate administrative and operational follow-up of orders and customer files, specifically for our French market. With your customer-oriented mindset and attention to detail, you contribute to efficient service and an optimal customer experience.
In addition, you work closely with the France sales team and various internal departments, ensuring clear information flow and proactive follow-up of questions, issues, and opportunities. You report to the Teamlead Sales Support.
The main responsibilities as a Sales Support Assistant include:
- Supporting and following up on the full quote-to-delivery process, including quotations, orders, and deliveries.
- Acting as the first point of contact for customers and sales regarding questions about orders, products, pricing, stock, and delivery times.
- Handling and following up on complaints, returns, and claims, and proactively contributing to solutions.
- Coordinating with internal departments such as planning, logistics, R&D, and accounting to ensure accurate and timely information.
- Ensuring accurate administrative processing and follow-up in systems such as SAP, CRM, and other tools.
- Actively maintaining and keeping customer data, order books, and databases up to date.
- Supporting sales colleagues by sharing relevant information and following up on opportunities and customer cases.
- Coordinating requests for samples and consignment materials.
- Continuously updating your knowledge of products and processes to support customers efficiently and correctly.
Profile
- You hold a bachelor’s degree or have equivalent experience.
- You have strong communication skills and are able to extract the right information from conversations.
- You are fluent in spoken and written French and have a good knowledge of Dutch and English.
- You possess strong organizational skills and are highly accurate.
- You are solution-oriented, customer-focused, and have a positive mindset — qualities that will help you thrive in this role.
- Knowledge of SAP is a strong asset.
- You enjoy working in a team and gain energy from strong collaboration.
