When starting in your role you will get to know your Territory and are capable of business growth in your region:
- Identify and target potential clients:
- You set up a complete Market Research and analysis towards existing and prospect specifiers (architects, interior and lighting designers, landscape designers, engineers, contractors,…) to identify market trends, competitor activities and business opportunities ;
- Build and maintain a strong network of contacts in the industry to generate leads and referrals.
- Based on your Market Research you promote the Deltalight brand and the product range towards the specifiers by organizing visits in their office, on construction sites or in our Deltalight showroom;
- You participate at local fairs and events to connect even better with your distributors and specifiers.
- Negotiate and close deals with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting sales targets
- You understand the dynamics of the projects and know how to meet the needs of your stakeholders through constant dialogue so you can determine the right strategy to add the project to Deltalight
- You use your creativity to brainstorm with architects to create a delighted Deltalight proposal in projects
- As first contact point, you provide consultancy, support and technical assistance to distributors and specifiers for their projects.
- Develop and implement business development strategies to drive sales growth in the Chinese market.
- You report into the APAC Regional Director (based in Bangkok, Thailand) who also supports and coaches you to grow and develop in your role
Profil
- You have a Bachelor in the area of Design and/or Interior Architecture and/or Lighting.
- Experience in Sales and Project Management, preferably in a premium market and in relation to a highly esthetical product / environment.
- Proven track record in specification work and a strong network of contacts within the interior design, lighting design, architecture, and construction industries.
- You have knowledge of the Lighting market or in the construction materials market.
- You are a real entrepreneur, sales and result driven and get extra adrenaline when closing the deal.
- For you, customer intimacy is the most important thing in the performance of your role. You love to communicate daily with your customers, are a real networker, connector and build easily relationships of trust.
- You are passionate by finding creative lighting solutions & services.
- You are a good organizer, knows to set priorities and have an eye for details.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Collaborating in a successful team in the region which gives you extra energy.
