The Mostman is a residential building, designed by BADR5, located in one of Moscow's oldest neighbourhoods, in the quiet lanes of Taganka. Its modern interpretation of art deco is an expressive artistic gesture that continues the dialogue between eras, as if it connects to the neighbouring buildings and creates spatial continuity.
The building comprises 48 flats, while the ground floor houses a grand entrance, commercial and office spaces. The extended entrance area flows out onto the street, creating a smooth flow of the inner courtyard into the outdoor lounge and the spacious lobby. Particular attention has been paid to the arrangement of the outdoor lounge – with hand-picked furnishings and Deltalight lighting to create cosiness and a sophisticated country house atmosphere.
You’ll spot our Montur and Vision outdoor wall lighting fixtures around the courtyard, while Want-it adorns the façade with its down-up light effect. A composition of Boxy luminaires on metal rods comes down from the ceiling of the courtyard and forms a unique lighting installation, custom-made for The Mostman.
