Good news for inspiration seekers. Deltalight presents the 11th edition of the Lighting Bible at Euroluce in Milan. A new catalogue that features a contemporary take on a few archetypes, minia-turisation of LED lighting, new materials, new applications, new shapes and lots of ex-tensions for existing series. All in-house manufactured designs, unveiled for the first time from 14 through 19 April at Euroluce in Milan.
A new Lighting Bible, new collections presented in a new stand concept at Euroluce, and a thoroughly revamped and expanded showroom. Creativity is everywhere at Deltalight. The Western Flanders based manufacturer of architectural lighting is exhibit-ing a wide range of innovations. From miniature recessed luminaires with powerful light output, to archetypical lighting forms with a modern twist and a major expansion of product families. The new catalogue has over 30% new product references... Should it be any surprise that the Lighting Bible has grown to over 1,100 pages of inspiration?
The Light+Building trade fair at Frankfurt, Germany (13.03-18.03) is known throughout the world as the leading event for the lighting industry. Belgian firm Deltalight® is exhibiting at the fair with a 400m2 stand, delighting visitors once more with new designs and next level technologies.
“Our Lighting Bible 11 - New Collection catalogue is to be used as a supplement to the already extensive Lighting Bible 11 launched in April 2015”, says managing director Jan Ameloot. “It contains both completely new collections and extensions of the existing range. New decorative wall mounted luminaires to high- performance downlighters, eye-catching circles floating to space, fully integrated made-to-measure profiles and wireless control dimming... continuous development of new lighting solutions is the heart and soul of the company”.
One of the most remarkable scoops on the stand is the new Butler collection, designed by Arik Levy. “In-house R&D will always remain the core focus, but at the same time we love to challenge our boundaries in collaboration with other creatives”, says managing director Peter Ameloot. “Arik has proven his exceptional artistic eye in a multitude of disciplines over the years so we were confident that we could join forces to make something unique, but still matching the Deltalight style. Like us he is very passionate about his work. His credo that creation is an uncontrolled muscle goes for my father as well.”
Woven Architecture
Deltalight loves to not only inspire with new collections, but also to surprise its global audience with new stand design and product scenographies. The Light+Building 2016 stand features a 8m high black and copper woven façade. Full walls are combined with an extraordinary structure of woven panels, providing a unique play of light and adding a semi-transparent look & feel.
Inside the stand a 15m long – 8m high impressive atrium welcomes guests with a custom-built cluster of the new Super-Oh XS fixture. Throughout the 400m2 stand visitors discover new collections of 2015, as well as a wide range of novelties shown for the first time.
Virtual Reality
To inspire on different applications of the Split-It PRO & ON, Deltalight created a Virtual Reality experience. Virtual loft, lobby and retail environments can be seen with the Deltalight VR App – free to download in the App store – and a VR headset. All three environments inspire with creative applications of both new profile systems.
