Deltalight and designer Dean Skira have combined forces to create the Polesano family of pole-top and bollard street and façade lighting.
Thanks to its high performance optical system, Polesano Bollards can be positioned up to 10 metres apart, which equates to less luminaires needed and more energy savings.
The luminaires themselves can be fitted with special low power LED sources that eliminate blue light. This Nature Centric Lighting, together with the positioning of the LED, reduces light pollution and minimises visual disturbance to nearby flora and fauna.
The Nature Centric low-power LEDs emit a spectrum of 560nm or higher, avoiding blue light and minimising interference with the vision of amphibians, birds, insects, and mammals. This makes the Polesano bollard an ideal solution for sustainable, ecofriendly lighting that supports the natural world.
Polesano’s modular system adapts to various lighting requirements. The pole-top version offers 355° rotation around the pole and 180° adjustment of the luminaire, ensuring precise placement.
The pole is available in two standard heights: 4 or 6 meters. Choose between anchored or base installation and customise with one to four luminaires per pole.
Whether it is a pedestrian walkway, road, park, square, façade or landscape, Polesano offers high flexibility thanks to its on-site adaptability.
Four optics offer precise illumination for buildings and paths, including a special street optic that prevents light spill behind the luminaire. Anti-glare accessories are also available.
A camera can be mounted in the pole for extra site security. The Polesano toolbox also includes an optional WiFi puck, creating its own network.
