Delta Light’s hotspots during Milan Design Week 2023

OUR HOTSPOTS DURING MILAN DESIGN WEEK

Milan is a wonderful city, full of life, art and culture, and it becomes even more full of all this during the week of the Fuori Salone. The city is flooded with beauty and originality to remind everyone that “Milan is Design”. For us at Delta Light, who breathe design every day, Milano Design Week is the ideal moment to present, to the city, within the city, our idea of the future. To live a Momentum among historical Palazzi, original and evocative installations and tell a unique, unrepeatable, memorable journey.

MOMENTUM

DELTA LIGHT STUDIO MILANO
Via Privata Gaspare Bugatti 15

Visit the Delta Light Studio during Milano Design Week and take part in MOMENTUM, an installation that evokes the warmth of human relationships, the moments that make the heart beat faster, the joy of being together, inspired and populated by the new products of The Lighting Bible 15. With MOMENTUM we will explore together the theme of connection between individuals and the duality of the very concept of moment. We will reflect on the dichotomous contrast between the volatility of the moments we experience and the importance of their permeance. Because together, as a community as well as individuals, we are all part of a larger story, made up of many moments, during which, as appearances, passengers or witnesses, we watch a world in constant transition and perpetual change. Let us try to find a moment to be together and to create, together, a momentum, now and in the future.

ZODIAC

PALAZZO LITTA
Corso Magenta 24

Zodiac is an exhibition realised by Creative Academy, Richemont's international design school, with the support of Van Cleef & Arpels and in partnership with Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri, as part of "Arts&Crafts&Design" at Palazzo Litta. The exhibition is highlighted by an immersive set-up: twelve majestic sculptures hold the objects of the collection created by the ceramic artist Tonino Negri, allowing the visitor to have a 'face-to-face' experience with his or her own sign of the zodiac.

In the Zodiac collection, the four fundamental elements Fire, Earth, Air and Water are joined by a fifth: ceramics. Delta Light contributes a sixth element, light. A lighting that respects the artistic context, discreet but present, that underlines and emphasises the beauty of the works without invading the space, but rather caressing and refining works and architecture.

PPP, Portaluppi Pattern Project

ALCOVA
EX MACELLO Viale Molise, 62

After filling a former bakery, a former cashmere factory, and the buildings of a military hospital complex with creativity and design, Alcova renews its commitment to bringing historic and significant spaces for the city to life and does so by bringing the former municipal slaughterhouse in Viale Molise back to life.

It is in this context that PPP was born and developed: the Portaluppi Pattern Project. ‘P' for Portaluppi but also for Pictalab, which this year renews its collaboration with Nicolò Castellini Baldissera, great-grandson of the architect and ambassador of the Portaluppi legacy. The collection presents 11 subjects in different variations that revisit the originals taken from the floors, doorways, tiles and mosaics of Portaluppi's iconic buildings in Milan.

The exploration of the concept of "living in beauty", a search for beauty that starts from the essence of the elements and arrives at their appearance also through light and lighting: Delta Light is the protagonist of this research, between beauty and technology, on the border between art and technique.

SPACE MAKERS

Foro Buonaparte 57

"Space Makers - Magic Room", the installation curated by Roberto Gobbo for Zalf tells of the ability to generate spaces through design, to shape a given environment by creating new places to be discovered.

Delta Light, Zalf's partner for this project, contributes with the aesthetic and functional magic of its XY180s, to infuse the atmosphere with a naturalness and simplicity, completely in line with the context to give light, form and life to the new places and guide the visitor in discovering the Magic Room.
