Low voltage systems offer flexible lighting solutions. The lighting modules in these systems operate at 48V, allowing smaller luminaire designs as they use converters rather than an integral power supply. This not only provides greater flexibility in design and installation, but also allows the use of slimmer, more compact luminaires.
Choose between two types: magnetic and non-magnetic. Magnetic systems are robust and exceptionally flexible, capable of supporting heavier modules, making them ideal for heavy suspended installations. On the other hand, non-magnetic systems are more compact and refined, offering a miniaturised look. Each type offers unique benefits tailored to different needs and environments.
Creative Freedom
Get creative with connectors that allow bends, crosses and T-junctions to create complex configurations from a single feed point. Or get even more creative with Matrix systems, which allow you to link structures on two levels, integrating different types of lighting into a single solution. This allows designers to effectively illuminate entire rooms and tailor spaces to specific aesthetic and practical requirements, all within a creative, versatile setup.
Ultimate Flexibility
Low voltage lighting systems offer exceptional flexibility, improving the integration of lighting in both commercial and residential environments. These systems make it easy to position and reposition lighting modules, allowing quick changes in design or focus with minimal effort.
Architectural Integration
The ability to miniaturise low voltage lighting systems makes them highly suitable for architectural applications. These small components can be easily integrated into building designs, offering both functional and aesthetic benefits. Whether implemented as recessed, surface mounted or pendant solutions, they provide a flexible approach to meet different design requirements. Despite their discreet size, these solutions still provide efficient lighting, making them a versatile choice.

Controls & 48V Systems
Our low voltage systems are powered by 48V, meaning that a conversion is needed from mains voltage (e.g. 230V) to 48V. This can be done by opting for a remote power supply or by adding a powerbox, integrating the power supply into the design of the profile. Dimming and controlling can be done by means of DALI or MDL (Modulator Dimming Low Voltage), based on our Smart 48 Technology. Other integrations on our low voltge systems include voice command and sensors that detect occupancy and natural light. This feature not only simplifies use but also helps to save energy, making lighting both user-friendly and environmentally conscious.
DALI controlled
DALI-systems allow individual dimming of multiple luminaires, with added benefits such as energy monitoring, Tunable White and more. They can also be linked to a building management system, putting control of the entire lighting installation in your hands.
Modulator Dimming
Modulator Dimming (MDL) allows dimming in four groups from a single power supply. Four individual luminaires or four groups of multiple luminaires, MDL is a simple way of dimming your lighting solutions.
Hey Google
Voice-activated controls such as "Hey Google" integrate with low voltage lighting for convenient management. Users can control lighting settings with simple voice commands, improving accessibility.
Integrated sensors
Integrated sensors automate lighting adjustments by detecting occupancy and changes in daylight. This ensures efficient lighting and maintains an ideal balance of light, reducing unnecessary energy consumption.
Light, Ventilation, Acoustics
48V low voltage systems provide a versatile basis for integrating a wide range of technologies to enhance both functionality and user experience in a variety of environments. These systems can be seamlessly combined with advanced features such as ventilation, as in our ▲IR solutions, and acoustic enhancements, as in our Superloop Plus and Soliscape solutions.
Light & ventilation combined in Splitline M20
Deltalight offers a linear ▲IR kit that can be combined with the Splitline M20 profile to seamlessly integrate both lighting and ventilation into a sleek, black line in the ceiling. This integration enhances the functionality of low voltage lighting solutions, providing a streamlined and aesthetic option for modern spaces.
Improved acoustics with Superloop Plus & Soliscape
Soliscape's Soli-Shhh panels and Superloop Plus both offer innovative solutions for improving room acoustics through effective sound absorption. The Soli-Shhh panels can be easily added, removed or repositioned and are specifically designed to reduce indoor reverberation in the frequencies typical of human speech, improving acoustic comfort and well-being in offices and meeting rooms. In parallel, the Superloop Plus incorporates a decorative PET felt panel that also improves harsh reflections in the room.
Sustainability
Low voltage lighting is sustainable because of its inherent flexibility and the integration of intelligent technologies. The adaptability of these systems allows for easy adjustments and updates, ensuring that they remain efficient and effective as technology advances. In addition, the incorporation of sensors into these systems optimises energy use. These sensors detect the presence of people and changes in natural light, and automatically adjust the lighting to minimise unnecessary power consumption. This responsiveness not only reduces energy costs but also the environmental impact, making low voltage systems an environmentally friendly choice for your lighting needs now and in the future.
