As Team Lead Sales Support, you are the main point of contact for our HQ support department and a key link between customers, sales, and internal departments. You oversee and safeguard the entire process from quotation to shipment and support the team in handling complex cases. In doing so, you combine a strong customer focus with operational decisiveness and actively contribute to process optimization.
You work closely with various departments and take on a coordinating role within the Sales Support team, reporting to the Customer Experience Manager.
Key responsibilities of the Team Lead Sales Support include:

Coordinating the full quotation-to-shipment process and related KPIs.

Acting as the central point of contact and escalation channel for complex orders and delivery issues.

Making decisions in case of process bottlenecks, balancing customer needs with operational feasibility.

Aligning and following up on order- and customer-specific cases with planning, warehouse, and R&D teams.

Identifying and initiating improvements within the order-to-shipment process and actively participating in optimization initiatives.

Monitoring the sales pipeline for HQ regions and taking customer-focused actions to support its realization.

Representing HQ during international sales support meetings and internal alignment meetings.

Managing the HQ Sales Support team, with a strong focus on collaboration, resource planning, and performance management.

Taking the lead in performance reviews and development discussions with team members, in close collaboration with the Customer Experience Manager.
Profil

You are a people manager with at least 5 years of experience leading support and service teams.

You have relevant experience in a (international) manufacturing environment; affinity with technology and the lighting industry is a plus.

You have in-depth knowledge of SAP.

You have experience participating in and facilitating improvement projects.

You are customer- and solution-oriented, with a positive mindset.

You work in a structured manner and have strong attention to detail.

You easily build strong relationships with various stakeholders across the organization.

You are a strong communicator with the ability to extract the right information from conversations.

You are fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus.
