Deltalight (DE)

The Deltalight offices and showroom in Germany have been entirely redesigned by ZHAC Architekten. With a conversion, restructuration and introduction of top-level ergonomics, the spaces now represent the contemporary design language of Deltalight and offer a comfortable experience to the Deltalight teams. Hybrid of showroom and workplace A differentiated lighting concept transforms the entire building into an attractive hybrid of showroom and workspace. Already in the elegant foyer, a wide variety of luminaires catches the visitor's eye. They make the fusion of work and presentation immediately tangible and arouse curiosity to explore the other rooms and lighting solutions. In the spacious reception area, 3 Supernova ceiling luminaires brighten up the space. An additional indirect lighting component is arranged as an aureole around each luminaire, for a unique effect. A Shiftline profile with adjustable Spy downlights runs along the ceiling of the space. It visually connects the open reception area with the office spaces. Different lighting scenarios In the multifunctional lunch room, Splitline profiles are integrated into the black ceiling. The light lines and Spy spotlights mounted on the profiles can be dimmed and switched separately. Thus always providing the right light for different requirements. This is because the room is also used for events, training courses and product presentations that require different lighting scenarios. On the upper floor, a bright and pleasant room climate was created by cutting room-high windows into the previously closed concrete facade. For the artificial lighting, DALI-compatible 3-phase tracks were integrated into the acoustic ceiling. The tracks are fitted with Spy spotlights for directional light and with suspended Streamliner profiles for diffuse light. The black profiles and luminaires create a strong contrast to the white ceiling. Floating light lines In the dedicated office spaces, Streamliner profiles are equipped with prismatic covers for standard-compliant glare-free screen work. The use of profile luminaires and track luminaires was a deliberate choice. That means the luminaires can be replaced quickly and easily with the newest product innovations. In this way it is possible to represent the cutting-edge possibilities of Deltalight in architectural lighting and technical office lighting at any moment. The conversion of the German office has created a contemporary workplace that meets aesthetic and ergonomic requirements, offering a comfortable working environment for its users. At the same time, it has become a stage for the architectural lighting of Deltalight. Visitors are welcome to take a look around the office, to learn more about the lighting applications and to get inspired by the interior.

Huberty Breyne

Huberty & Breyne Gallery in Brussels is dedicated to the 9th art, graphic novels and comic books. The gallery is housed in a former sports hall, that was entirely remodeled by Estate Estate Architects. The gallery consists of a succession of different spaces, in different shapes and heights. The challenge was to create a coherent story, guiding the visitor through the different spaces while maintaining the individual identity of each space. This was achieved through a symbiosis of architecture and lighting. A composition of Supernova luminaires is installed in the double height entrance hall. These give hints of what’s to come inside the gallery. At the heart of the gallery a large atrium fills the space with natural light during the day. In the evening, Microline profiles replicate that feeling of daylight. Throughout the gallery, a combination of profiles and spotlights and diffuse lighting leads visitors around the exhibition. Different atmospheres can easily be created, while the adjustable spotlights can be focused on the artworks exhibited.

Cummins Fitout (AU)

Cummins engaged Venko to assist them in the consolidation of their existing offices at Box Hill & Scoresby into one flexible & agile environment at their Scoresby site. Venko collaborated in the change management process alongside an independent change management consultant to ensure a fluid transition of both the consolidated staff and the workplace practice changes ahead. Venko dedicated time and attention in ensuring early engagement with Cummins staff to foster inclusion and ownership of the project so as to encourage future uptake of the new environment and ease the transition to the cultural changes the project heralds. The new design is an environment that is encouraging collaboration across service lines, aligned with their company culture and enabling innovation and growth for staff and the business. The new fit out which accommodates up to 300 staff, largely includes open plan workspaces with workstations/collaborative settings, front and back of house meeting facilities, reception/concierge, utility spaces, breakout, courtyard and support functions. The lighting throughout the Cummins office echoed the large, open-plan break out spaces and collaborative settings. This was reflected in the use of large round luminaires such as Supernovas and Superloops. Whilst providing an eye-catching element, these large fixtures play an important role by illuminating the breakout spaces with diffused general lighting.

Panorama Golf Resort (CZ)

New built golf resort near Prague, in the city Kácov. Consists of golf club house, hotel and restaurant. Materials dominating project are wood, stone and glass, in an effort to be in harmony with surrounding nature. Architecture designed prof. Ing. Arch. Martin Rajniš and interior design is by Ing. Arch. Mojmír Ranný. Deltalight luminaries are placed in both interior and exterior. Architect put emphasis on light atmospehere and choose luminaires to create different lighting scenes. Supernova, Spy Clip and Nyx luminaries are placed in the restaurant. Super-Oh with bulbs dominates the golf club room accompanied by black Spy Clip. Supernova and Boxy on track are placed in the entry hall. The exterior is illuminated with Aula luminaires on the driveway. Dox luminaries are placed on the facade.

Labaere (BE)

Clothing store Labaere is quite popular in its region. In the 150 year existence of the store, however, fashion has changed a lot. But one thing has remained the same throughout the years. "Our personal service and our craftsmanship", says current manager Filip Labaere. With the purchase of adjacent buildings, the store expanded considerably over the course of time to the current area of 1,000 square meters. "And yet the customer enjoys a cozy feeling when they come in. The boutique is divided into separate areas: the casual chic corner with a choice of different brands and behind it the space with suits from Hugo Boss, Scabal, Versace, Van Gils and Tommy Hilfiger Tailored. On the same floor you will find a wide selection of accessories, from dressed shoes, socks, ties, bows and cufflinks to fun boxer shorts. The party attire is located on the top floor. There is also a stylish salon where men can quietly choose the fabric for their tailor-made suits, such as in Savile Row, London. Thanks to the immense choice in various price ranges, many men from all over the country are buying their wedding suit here", explains Filip. There is a playful combination of lighting in the building. Throughout the shop, recessed Supernova luminaires provide general illumination, while Splitline profiles with Spy luminaires light up the wall with clothing. These are supplemented by clusters of our Spy Clip for additional direct lighting throughout the store.

Ginetta is a web and mobile agency specialized in user interface design and development. Located in Zürich, Switzerland, they carefully design and develop outstanding user experiences for their clients. They build applications which are simple, beautiful and fun to use. A leading digital agency, connecting the dots between content and client. For their office space in Zürich, numerous Supernova’s in black finish have been installed above the working desks to provide general lighting. In the dining area which doubles as a conference space, a they have opted for a combination of our Super-Oh fixtures with integrated LEDs and the more retro-look version with classic light bulbs, resulting in a more cosy atmosphere.
