During the 2016 New York Design Week, Deltalight has opened a newly constructed, inspirational showroom at 255 Fifth Avenue. For this new showcase Deltalight joined forces with its NYC partner D’Apostrophe and other Belgian-European architectural and design brands Royal Botania and Renson, as well as D’Apostrophe brands Bulo, Wildspirit, Pedrali, Limited edition and 2tec2. A design collective launched under the name of Ernest, a twist on the traditional showroom offering visitors a wide range of indoor and outdoor solutions for commercial and residential projects.
USA has become a key market for Deltalight. Since we launched our first customized North-American version of our Lighting Bible product catalogue in 2010, we have been working intensively on small and large-scale projects throughout all States. With our HQ laboratory certified as a level 4 satellite laboratory for INTERTEK, we can easily obtain the mandatory cETLus listing for our products, enabling us to develop and manufacture architectural lighting solutions specifically tailored to the needs of the local market.
"We manage our US activities from Fort-Lauderdale, opening a new office and showroom for our NY based team is an important step” says Jan Ameloot, Managing Director of Deltalight. “We strongly believe in the synergies between the brands gathered in this new showroom. Proud of our Belgian roots we are particularly excited about the all Belgian collective of brands."
More than product display Deltalight will use the new showroom for project specific lighting advice services, workshops and trainings. Furthermore Ernest will offer the A&D community multi-disciplinary cultural and social experiences. Easily transformable, it will also serve as an event space for anyone looking to rent a prime NYC venue.
